The Data Connections feature in Rollup provides users with the ability to create and manage Data Sources and Data Sinks, enabling seamless integration of external data streams into Rollup. This functionality allows users to import live data from third-party applications, ensuring that project information remains up-to-date and readily accessible within workflows. With Data Connections, teams can enhance their collaborative processes by linking critical data directly to project milestones, improving alignment and visibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Data Connections empower users to:

• Create Data Sources and Data Sinks that link directly to Rollup’s integrations, making it easy to pull data from external systems into Rollup or export data from Rollup to other tools.

• Maintain real-time data accuracy by automating updates from integrated sources, reducing the need for manual data entry and ensuring project teams have access to the latest information.

The goal of Data Connections is to allow users to manage data integrations within Rollup, including creating Data Sources and Data Sinks that pull in or push out data from third-party tools. This keeps data integrated within the Rollup environment and directly tied to actionable workflows.

Supported Integrations

• Cloud simulation: Access simulation data.

Using Data Connections

To create a Data Source or Data Sink:

• Navigate to the Data Connections feature within Rollup.

• Click on "Add Data Connection."

• Select the desired type: Data Sink or Data Source.

• Configure the connection by selecting the specific data you wish to import or export.

• Save the connection to activate live data syncing.

Rollup will automatically update the data based on the settings, or users can manually refresh the data to ensure the latest information is always available within workflows.
